Boys 2018 WISTCA All-State | 2018 Athletes of the Year: Brooke Jaworski [Wausau West] and Kenny Bednarek [Rice Lake] | Girls 2018 WISTCA All-State

Wausau West's Brooke Jaworski has been named Female Athlete of the Year for 2018. Jaworski set a 300m LH record by blazing to a time of 41.40, won the 400m dash for the third year in a row in 53.75 , and earned ffifth place medals in the long jump [18' 07.75] and as anchor of the Warriors 4x400m relay team [3:58.84]. Her time in the 300m LH event was the 5th best time by an American high school girl during the 2018 season.

Jaworski is a senior at Wausau West high school where she also competes with the West Cross Country team. Jaworski had a very successful summer posting the best 400m hurdle time in the USA by a high school girl. She also competed in the IAAF World Under 20 Championships in Tampere, Finalnd where she placed 7th against international competition. Earlier in the summer she was named Gatorade Player of the Year for Girls track And Field in Wisconsin.

Named as a 2018 High School All-American by Track And Field magazine.
