Favorite Quad Cities Pumpkin Patches

As a family with four very active boys, we love places we can go and do things. That's why fall and the area pumpkin farms, pumpkin patches and nurseries are some of the best entertainment around. Plus, many of them have the perfect fall snacks like spice donuts, cider and kettle corn. Yum!

FOUR FAVORITE QUAD CITIES PUMPKIN PATCHES with Halloween Activities and Lots of Fun to enjoy.

Buffalo Pumpkin Farm
Buffalo, IA
No admission fee

“I highly recommend this pumpkin patch. This is the real farm experience. They have a few fun activities (bounce houses, cow train etc.) but it’s so much more than that. The staff was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. It is apparent that they are less interested in making money and the priority is sharing what they are passionate about with others,” shares Chantel Gillette-Cannon, mom of a girl and four boys.

Corn Crib Nursery: Cribfest
Coal Valley, IL

“All of our kids enjoyed the Corn Crib! There were such a variety of things to do: shooting mini-pumpkins, zip line, tug of war, bounce pad, pedal cars, cow train, barrel train, sand box, hayrack ride, tether ball, the amazing play are and so much more. Our family loved this. HIGHLY recommend.” -Luke and Meghan Cooley, parents of four boys ages 4-11.

“I liked that you could pay one price and the kids could do ALL the things as many times as they wanted. Xavier especially loved the zip line,” explains Holly Moreland, mother of one son.

Shady Knoll Farm

“We have loved going to Shady Knoll with our kids' preschool class over the years. The owners are sweet, patient, generous and have a love for their land! They love having people there to enjoy it. The activities are perfect for littles and their store is very reasonably priced. A great local patch!” shares Becky Clark, mom of a boy and a girl.

“Shady Knoll is a charming family farm with a great selection of pumpkins. The corn maze is a highlight for us each year!” Moline mom, Karen Dahlstrom tells us.
