The average New Mexico ski season runs from the end of November to the end of March. Sandia Peak Ski Area is the only ski resort in Albuquerque. Easily accessible from the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway, or by car on the east side of the Sandia Mountains, there are 25 miles of slopes and 35 trails to explore.
