PROMOTIONAL POSTERS AND BANNERS (2006)

Odyssey House, Victoria invited Visionary Images to design artwork to promote its service to new clients. Visionary Images offered Odyssey’s existing clients input into the visual representation of the service and creation of promotional material. The design needed to highlight Odyssey’s reputation as a provider of high quality rehabilitation services for people affected by addiction, as well as the fact that the program accommodates single fathers and their children.

Visionary Images was able to work closely with residents living in the Therapeutic Community of Odyssey House. Residents discussed the idea of ‘starting a new beginning’ and ‘wiping yourself clean’. Ensuring the material reflected the residents’ ideas and aspirations for recovery, a core group of Visionary Images studio participants created the final artworks, assisted by a photographer, make-up artist, model and other community members volunteering their time for the photo shoot.
