To make sure our work is  addressing the most pressing emerging social challenges, Visionary Images undertook an extensive research and consultation project. This resulted in identifying the increasing needs of middle-year children and the lack of targeted programming for this age group. The VI Committee of Management responded by increasing our target group to include those aged 8 – 14 years old, and  in partnership with local agencies we developed the XSite Pilot Program.

Based on public housing estates in the City of Yarra, through this initiative children are improving their life chances by working with artists to create artworks that are exhibited on the estate and around their local neighbourhood.
