Muraya looks for Akorino maize seller

Muraya saw a TikTok video shared by @freddycheir that showed the man sitting beside his hustle looking very pensive and decided to look for him and see if all was well.

"Who has this Akorino man's number?" asked Muraya.

Muraya gives Kinyajui KSh 5000

Immediately, word went around that Karangu was looking for the man, and netizens took up the challenge and brought him the correct number.

Once he got the number, he sent the man money and rallied other people to share what they had as well.

"God bless you all Ruiru people I found Robert Kinyanjui and we talked. He told me he had bought KSh 1000 maize and people hadn't bought anything from him because most people don't buy maize when it is sunny," explained Muraya.

Kinyajui complains of slow business

"I will look for him when I come from India and lend him as much support as I can. In the meantime, I can send him KSh 5000 so that he can eat something and pay rent," he continued.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Kinyanjui said that business was still slow and that he was counting on it to improve when the rains come since that is when many people chew roasted maize..

"Mi financial situation is dire; I don't have money to meet all my needs. I still require more help from Kenyans. I am thankful for all that they have done for me," he said.

Karangu washes feet of ailing apostle

In another story, Muraya captured the hearts of many as he tenderly washed the feet of ailing apostle John Paul Macharia.
