Due to market value updates and the departure of some prominent players, the market value of the Indian Super League has drastically dipped this season compared to last season despite the addition of a new club.

ISL Value over the years

The Indian Super League had a total market value of 498 crore as of the season's last market value update. ATK Mohun Bagan, currently known as Mohun Bagan Super Giant, had the highest market value of ₹72.2 crore the previous season. The second-best team was Kerala Blasters, with ₹50.4 crore.

Now looking at the new season, the league value stands at ₹457 crore. Mohun Bagan continues to lead the chart among the valuable clubs, but has suffered a decrease in overall value. Mohun Bagan's market value now stands at ₹62 Crore, losing ₹10.2 crore. Kerala Blasters FC maintains their 2nd place too with a value of ₹48.6 Crore, losing ₹1.8 crore.

Last season's bottom placed clubs Chennaiyin FC (₹37.6 Cr to ₹31 Cr), NorthEast United FC (₹35 Cr to ₹29.6 Cr) and Jamshedpur FC (₹31.6 Cr to ₹23.6 Cr) have all seen their overall value get downgraded. Meanwhile, new boys in the ISL, Punjab FC have slotted in as 9th most valuable club this season with a market value of ₹33.4 Crore.
