Rookie Mum

After the massive high of coming 6th at their first Eventer Challenge back in January, Rookie Mum, Sarah Heseltine, is happy to report that she has remained in the ribbons ever since…until last weekend!

Having reneged on every resolution ever made at this time of year, Co-Founder of The Gaitpost, Sarah Heseltine, has run out of excuses of not seeing through her commitment to get out of her comfort zone in 2015 and enter her first competition with her relatively new horse, Mischief. Here Sarah shares the ups and luckily no downs (yet)!

I knew I wanted to take my daughter away with our four legged friends, Mischief and Toff, and have an adventure in Olive (our ‘new’ lorry) but I didn’t want to go on a riding holiday per se. I wanted to learn and to be made to get out of my comfort zone. Talland School of Equitation certainly did that by the bucket load and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.
