Piercing Course Questions

Yes, on successful completion of your course, you will be awarded a certificate of competence. The certificate will state when you passed along with the modules you have completed. This is required for insurance purposes and for applying for a special treatments license.

Our Piercing Course Certificate is recognised throughout the UK, Europe and Internationally including the following:

In short, the answer is Yes, you can open up your own studio after successfull completion of our Piercing course and obtaining a certificate.

However, it is advisable to contact your local council to guide you through the process and ensure you follow the UK tattooing laws and regulations covered in our theory modules.

We will also be on hand to help you apply for any licensing and insurances, as well as help you with the set up of your business from marketing to whoelsale supplier contacts.

No. All equipment and accessories will be provided on your Piercing course.

We do however, recommend that you bring a pen and pad for making additional notes.

We offer free rescheduling, subject to availability. We reserve the right to withdraw this offer if the rescheduling request is made within 14 days of the course start date.

We offer instalment plans for our students. 

After booking your course by paying a deposit. You have up to 14 days before the course start date to pay the remainder balance. Often, our students pay a nominal amount every week or month which all totals up and is deducted from their final balance.

You can request to reschedule your course to a later date, if you realise that you are unable to pay the final balance 14 days before the course start.

Our piercing courses start at 10am and finish for the day at 5pm*.

However, our courses do often overrun, especially on the practical day depending on how many models arrive for you to pierce on. If you do have specific time constraints, please do let our instructor know beforehand.

Our piercing courses are catered towards complete beginners and also for piercers who would like a refresher. And as such, you do not require any prior knowledge or experience in the industry.

 

 

There is no specific uniform, however, we do advise you not to wear clothing that is too loose as it can potentially get in the way of you piercing.

You will have lifetime support on completion of the course. We helped a number of Piercers set up their own businesses many years after leaving us!

As part of our lifetime support, we also offer additional free practical training should you need it – at the discretion of the academy.

Piercing Course Modules

Upon successful completion of your course, we will email the piercing guidebook to you within 48 working hours. This guidebook encompasses all the information covered on the first day of the course and will serve as your comprehensive reference in the industry.

Practically, you will cover a minimum of 2 piercings on the day. You will more than likely complete more. We are known to complete the highest number of piercings per students in the industry.

Theoretically, the piercings mentioned on our course page above the waist are covered. You will also receive the piercing booklet which covers all piercings that we cover in detail.

As part of our lifetime support, we also offer additional free practical training should you need it – at the discretion of the academy.

On Saturday, the course starts at 10am and we aim to finish by 5pm.

On Sunday, the course will start at 9am and we aim to finish by 6pm.

Our course on Sunday tends to be busier as we try to create a busy environment with models and mimic a live studio environment. We believe this is essential in the industry as in some busy studios, you may be expected to complete over 20 piercings in one day.

Free Piercing Kits: Our Free Piercing Kits are promotional materials and should not be used as the sole reason to book our courses. The free kits, are made up of 3 mini kits, each containing the equipment and jewelry needed to complete the respective piercing.

Professional kits needed to set up your studio/ business can be purchased at a discount separately on the course.

Yes, our courses are CPD accredited. We often hold accreditations with multiple bodies. While in the UK you are not required to complete a CPD registered course to gain entry into the tattooing and piercing industry, we provide this as a bonus for our students. This demonstrates our commitment to maintaining high training standards. At any given time, we may hold one or more accreditations through one or multiple bodies.
You will initially receive a confirmation of payment when you book. This is confiArmation of your place being reserved on the course for that date. 

You will also receive a confirmation email 3 days before the course start date which includes the student registration form.

Free Parking is readily available at both locations.

General Piercing Questions

At the very bare minimum you would need to complete some form of formal training such as our piercing course.

 

This depends on your experience and how busy you aer. A Piercer can easily earn £1,000 per week!
