Formed in 1989 we operate from our own purpose built factory at the intersection of the M1 motorway and the A38 on the Nottinghamshire Derbyshire boarder giving us excellent road links to all parts to the UK. Supplying many NHS trusts, Ambulance trusts and numerous foundation trusts and independent medical practices we have a well-respected reputation for quality and service.

SafeAway History
The company was formed in 1989 by a former Rolls Royce engineer in three industrial units to manufacture shop fittings and electrical control cabinets for the retail sector and water treatment industry.
In 1996 we purchased a piece of building land and started the construction of our new purpose built factory which was completed in December 1997.
In 2000 we commissioned the building of an additional factory on the same site which was to incorporate our own automated powder coating plant.
In 2001 the powder coating equipment was installed and commissioned giving us full control of the metal finishing to our products.
Over the following decades the company has grown both in reputation and product range now manufacturing and selling a wide range of cabinets for medical markets and may other sectors. With the demise in the retail sector the company has successfully expanded the manufacture of its cabinet range becoming one of the leading manufacturers of Medical cabinets in the UK. To enable the business to continue to thrive with the demise of the shop fitting sector we expanded our range of cabinets and now include Hazardous substance cupboards, controlled drugs cabinets and medicine cabinets. Hazardous substance storage cupboards are the most recent addition to our product range and we see this as a market in which we can further grow our product range.
