PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Pemkot Ternate melalui Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR), menegaskan pekerjaan saluran drainase di Kota Ternate masih mencapai 19 persen.
Perbaikan saluran drainase di 17 titik yang difokuskan pada wilayah yang rawan terhadap banjir ini dianggarkan senilai Rp 2,75 miliar.
Kadis PUPR Kota Ternate, Rusāan M. Nur Thaib, menyebutkan perbaikan saluran drainase dalam kota itu yakni Kecamatan Ternate selatan sebanyak 6 segmen, Kecamatan Ternate Tengah sebanyak 6 segmen dan Kecamatan Ternate Utara sebanyak 5 segmen.
“Untuk perbaikan saluran drainase ini tidak secara keseluruhan. Ada beberapa segmen saja yang direhab, karena ada sebagian saluran yang menyempit dan ada dinding yang sudah rusak. Kemudian sedimentasi hanya dibuat lebar 40 sampai 50 centimeter, maka diubah 85 centimeter menjadi 1 meter,” jelasnya, Rabu (12/10).
Lebih lanjut, ia menuturkan, pekerjaan ini juga dibuat sumur resapan, gorong-gorong dan deker. Meski begitu, ia mengaku bahwa sejumlah pekerjaan ini tidak dikerjakan secara keseluruhan untuk tahun ini.
“Kalau proses pekerjaan saluran drainase dalam kota yang saat ini mulai dikerjakan untuk pengendalian arus lalu lintas di lapangan juga telah sesuai aturan. Di mana, untuk material yang menumpuk di samping badan jalan dan kerap menyebabkan terjadinya kemacetan arus lalu lintas itu langsung diangkut,” terangnya.
Terkait sorotan DPRD mengenai pelaksanaan sejumlah kegiatan fisik di lapangan yang belum berjalan, Rus’an mengaku, hal itu lantaran belum ada penandatanganan kontrak, karena proses pelelangannya belum selesai.
āKalau untuk kegiatan fisik seperti pekerjaan jalan, sejauh ini sudah 100 persen. Dan kita optimis hingga memasuki akhir tahun atau di bulan Desember, secara keseluruhan sudah tuntas,ā pungkasnya. (udi/tan)
