PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Polda Maluku Utara melalui Bidang Profesi dan Pengamanan (Propam) telah melakukan proses secara pidana terhadap empat anggota Polres Halmahera Utara yang diduga melakukan penganiyaan terhadap salah satu warga Halut. Proses pidana ke empat anggota itu dilakukan di Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum (Ditreskrimum). Selain pidana, ke empatnya juga akan diproses kode etik profesi.
“Jadi pimpinan Polda Malut sudah mengambil langkah, yang pertama diproses secara pidana di Ditreskrimum sudah ditangni. Sedangkan etiknya di Bidang Propam,” ungkap Kabid Humas Polda Malut, Kombes Pol Michael Irwan Thamsil kepada wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Kamis (6/10).
Michael menuturkan, kalau di Propam sudah dilakukan pemeriksaan kepada sejumlah pihak terkait terkait peristiwa tersebut. Namun ia tidak menyebut pihak mana saja yang telah diperiksa.
“Artinya ini perbuatan-perbuatan oknum yang ada di Polres Halmahera Utara. Semua pihak terkait dengan itu akan diambil keterangan,” tuturnya.
Pihaknya melakukan pemeriksaan kepada sejumlah pihak termasuk, satuan wilayah (Satwil) di Polres Halmahera Utara. Hal ini dimaksudkan agar permasalahan tersebut lebih jelas.
“Apakah pimpinannya tahu atau tidak, akan dilakukan pemeriksaan biar jelas,” pungkasnya.
Sebelumnya, empat anggota polisi ini diduga menganiaya salah satu warga Halut bernama Ongen dengan cara menyeretnya dari teras rumah korban. Sebelumnya itu, korban juga ditampar dan dicekik hingga tak sadarkan diri. Bahkan disuru meminta maaf ke anjing. (gon/ask)
