PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (DP3A) Provinsi Maluku Utara resmi melaunching gerakan cegah perkawinan anak (Ceria). Kegiatan ini bertempat di Land Mark, Kota Ternate, Sabtu (1/10) tadi.
Ini karena berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Maluku Utara, tercatat data angka perkawinan Malut rata-rata nasional berada 14,36 persen. Sementara angka Nasional berada di atas 10,80 persen.
Kepala DP3A Malut, Musyrifah Alhadar mengatakan, launching program Ceria ini merupakan akronim dari cegah perkawinan anak. Ini merupakan program DP3A se- Indonesia.
“Karena ini merupakan arahan Presiden dari 5 urutan Nasional agar menurunkan angka perkawinan anak di Maluku Utara,” ucapnya.
Menurutnya, upaya untuk menurunkan angka perkawinan anak di Malut adalah salah satunya DP3A meluncurkan program andalan untuk tahun 2022, yaitu Ceria. Ia berharap agar angka perkawinan anak di Malut itu menurun atau paling tidak di bawah rata-rata angka Nasional.
Musyrifah membeberkaan, dari 10 kabupaten/kota di Malut, angka perkawinan anak yang paling tinggi berada di Halmahera Selatan dengan 20,80 persen, menyusul Halmahera Utara 20,60 persen, serta Pulau Taliabu urutan ketiga. Data ini resmi yang dikeluarkan oleh BPS.
Program cegah perkawinan anak ini, kata dia, bukan hanya sebatas diluncurkan, namun akan terus berlanjut dilakukan.
āKita juga sudah masuk di sekolah-sekolah di Kota Ternate dengan kegiatan āCeria Go to Schoolā yang melibatkan 1.800 siswa. Tentunya di edukasi pada mereka agar bisa memahami jangan sampai perkawinan anak terjadi,” tuturnya.
Program ini merupakan langkah awal dilakukan di Kota Ternate dengan pertimbangan karena Ternate menjadi salah satu penduduk terbanyak di Malut dengan keberagaman dan menjadi pusat menimba pendidikan.
āMemang Kota Ternate sendiri mengantongi angka perkawinan anak paling rendah dan ini perlu cepat upaya pencegahan, sehingga angka perkawinan jangan meningkat. Kalau bisa ya stagnan atau menurunlah,” harapnya.
DP3A Malut juga sedang menyusun program jangka menengah yang akan difokuskan pada ketiga kabupaten dengan angka perkawinan tertinggi. Sedangkan untuk program jangka panjangnya diharapkan seluruh kabupaten/kota di Maluku Utara melaksanakan program pencegahan.
Musyrifah menambahkan, sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Perlindungan Anak, bahwa anak itu mulai usia 0-18 tahun. Sementara UU Nomor 16 tahun 2019 menyatakan bahwa perkawinan dapat dilaksanakan, apabila laki-laki dan perempuan berada pada usia 19 tahun.
“Ini yang kita gencar melakukan sosialisasi, edukasi dan diseminasi, agar angka perkawinan ini bisa menurun melalui sinergitas antara stakeholder terkait, baik OPD pemerintah maupun instansi vertical lainnya,” pungkasnya.
