PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Partai Demokrat Provinsi Maluku Utara dengan tegas menolak kebijakan pemerintah menaikan harga bahan bakar minya (BBM).
“Kami (Partai Demokrat) lebih dahulu menggaungkan penolakan kenaikan harga BBM. Saya pada minggu lalu sudah menyatakan sikap tolak dan lawan, karena ini membuat rakyat menderita berlapis-lapis,” tegas Ketua DPD Partai Demokrat Malut, M. Rahmi Husen saat diwawancarai wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Rabu (7/9).
Lanjutnya, rezim ini sangat luar biasa dalam perlakuan terhadap rakyat di tengah kesulitan ekonomi akibat dari pandemi Covid-19 yang tidak berkesudahan ini, lalu tiba-tiba pemeritah menaikan lagi harga BBM. Dalam satu tahun ini, kata dia, sudah beberapa kali pemerintah menaikkan harga BBM.
“Sementara di Negara yang lain harga BBM malah turun, misalnya Malaysia. Kenapa Indonesia malah naik, ada apa? Dengan tegas kami menolak kenaikan harga BBM itu, karena sudah pasti dalam istilah saya membuat warga masyarakat kita menderita berlapis-lapis,” tandasnya.
“Coba lihat di Maluku Utara, baru saja mendengar kenaikan harga BBM langsung harga-harga yang lain juga naik beberapa kali lipat, belum lagi kenaikan harga transportasi laut. Ini yang gila dan ngeri,” sambung Wakil Ketua DPRD Provinsi Malut itu.
Menurut dia, mestinya sesegera mungkin instansi terkait itu menertibkan dan mengeluarkan tiket transportasi secara resmi. Jangan asal maunya pengusaha dan pemilik kapal. Ini mesti ada hitung-hitungan, dan itu harus cepat dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi.
“Namun ini sering kali terlambat sudah berjalan berapa bulan, baru pemerintah mengambil langkah,” pungkasnya kesal. (gon/ask)
