PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Penyidik bidang tindak pidana khusus (Pidsus) Kejaksaan Tinggi (Kejati) Maluku Utara resmi menetapkan tiga orang sebagai tersangka dugaan kasus mafia tanah di Desa Nusliko, Kecamatan Weda, Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah.
Mereka adalah WL, pegawai BPN Halteng. Sementara dua lainnya UB selaku pemohon sertifikat, dan YI selaku Kepala Desa Nusliko.
“Sebagaimana hasil ekspose dengan tim penyidik di depan pimpinan dan unsur-unsur lain di Kejati, kita tim merekomendasikan tiga orang sebagai tersangka dalam perkara mafia tanah di Kabupaten Halteng,” kata Kasi Penkum Kejati Malut, Richard Sinaga saat dikonfirmasi wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Senin (22/8).
Richard menuturkan, ketiga orang ini telah diperiksa sebagai saksi sebelum ditetapkan sebagai tersangka. Tidak menutup kemungkinan, selain ketiga tersangka, juga akan menyeret tersangka lain apabila ditemukan adanya indikasi yang mengarah ke sana.
“Yang namanya penetapan tersangka apabila ada keterangan-keterangan lain yang didapat, ada indikasi pihak tertentu juga bertanggungjawab tidak menutup kemungkinan ada tersangka lain,” ujarnya.
Namun saat ini, pihaknya baru menetapkan tiga orang tersangka. Ketiganya dijerat dengan Pasal 5 atau Pasal 9 atau Pasal 11 Undang-Undang Nomor 32 tahun 1999 junto UU Nomor 20 tahun 2001 tentang tindak pidana korupsi.
“Ancam pidana penjara paling lama 5 tahun dan atau pidana denda paling banyak Rp 250 juta,” pungkasnya. (gon/ask)
