PENAMALUT.COM, TALIABU – Bupati Pulau Taliabu, Aliong Mus, meresmikan Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri 2 Gela, Kecamatan Taliabu Utara, Kabupaten Pulau Taliabu, Jumat (19/8) tadi.
Peresmian tersebut turut dihadiri Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Taliabu, Citra Puspa Sari Mus dan sejumlah pimpinan OPD lainnya.
Bupati Taliabu, Aliong Mus, dalam kata sambutan meminta kepada siswa dan para guru yang akan menggunakan gedung sekolah yang baru dibangun itu agar selalu belajar dengan keras, tidak putus asa dan terus mengejar cita-citanya.
Menurutnya, dengan pendidikan yang tinggi dan berkualitas, bisa memutuskan mata rantai kemiskinan.
“Pendidikan dapat merubah status sosial, dan dengan pendidikan pula kita mengangkat harkat, derajat dan martabat keluarga,” ujarnya.
Aliong mengingatkan kepada orang tua murid harus memberikan motivasi kepada anak-anak agar tidak ketinggalan dalam belajar untuk mencapai masa depan yang cermelang.
Tak hanya itu, Bupati dua periode itu juga menegaskan akan mengevaluasi kembali kinerja kepala sekolah, baik SD maupun SMP apabila ada yang melakukan pungutan biaya seragam dan olahraga.
Praktik seperti ini agar ditiadakan dan segera dikembalikan apabila sudah dilakukan.
“Saya kasih jangka waktu seminggu, apabila belum dikembalikan, maka saya akan nonjobkan,” tegasnya.
Sementara Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Citra Puspa Sari Mus menambahkan, pembangunan sarana dan prasarana SD ini adalah untuk memudahkan siswa dan guru dalam proses belajar mengajar.
Ia berharap agar standar pelayanan minimal (SPM) pendidikan dapat terpenuhi yang pada akhirnya dapat melahirkan sumber daya manusi generasi emas Pulau Taliabu. (ysn/ask)
