PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Program Haji Robert Peduli terus membantu masyarakat kurang mampu yang mengalami sakit parah.
Seperti yang dilakukan Tim Haji Robert peduli saat membantu satu warga Desa Dum-Dum, Kecamatan Kao Teluk, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara yang mengalami penyumbatan pada saluran kencing.
Warga tersebut dijemput di rumahnya dan dievakuasi ke Kota Ternate untuk mendapatkan perawatan di rumah sakit. Ia dijemput di pelabuhan speed boat oleh Tim Haji Robert Peduli PT. Nusa Halmahera Minerals (NHM).
Menurut Koordinator Program Haji Robert Peduli di Ternate, Munir Radjabessy, pasien asal Desa Dum Dum itu adalah satu dari beberapa orang sakit yang sedang ditangani di Ternate.
“Saat ini sedang didiagnosa oleh para dokter, untuk kemudian nanti ditentukan akan tetap di rawat di RSUD Ternate atau dirujuk ke rumah sakit lain,” kata Munir, Kamis (30/6).
Munir dan para anggota Tim Haji Robert Peduli di Ternate setiap hari selalu siaga untuk menerima, jika ada orang sakit yang dinilai perlu dibantu oleh Program Haji Robert Peduli. Seperti diketahui, Program Haji Robert Peduli membantu masyarakat lingkar tambang PT. NHM atau wilayah lainnya yang dinilai tidak mampu untuk mendapatkan kehidupan yang layak.
Program yang dilakukan ini, kata Munir, merenovasi atau membangun kembali rumah masyarakat yang tadinya dinilai tidak layak huni menjadi rumah yang kokoh dan sehat, santunan bagi masyarakat tidak mampu (yatim piatu, yatim, para janda lanjut usia, kaum dhuafa) serta bantuan kesehatan.
Khusus untuk bantuan kesehatan ini diberikan kepada masyarakat tidak mampu yang mengalami sakit parah dan mengancam jiwa. Program ini dikoordinasikan dengan para Kepala Desa untuk kemudian dibantu.
“Sebelumnya juga ada orang sakit asal Kecamatan Malifut, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara yang telah dibantu untuk dirawat di RSUD Ternate karena tumor yang dideritanya,” terangnya.
Selain itu, ada juga orang sakit yang berasal dari Tidore Kepulauan, Bacan Timur, dan Bacan Selatan yang dirujuk ke Ternate. Lalu di antara mereka ada yang kemudian dirujuk ke Jakarta untuk dirawat di Rumah Sakit Cipto Mangunkusumo, dan ke Rumah Sakit Siloam Manado. Di antaranya adalah seorang anak berusia 2 tahun yang tidak mempunyai anus dan selama ini buang air melalui lubang yang ada di perutnya. Ini akan dirujuk ke Rumah Sakit Siloam Manado setelah dikoordinasikan dengan pihak rumah sakit tersebut.
Lalu ada juga remaja putri usia 17 tahun asal Tidore Kepulauan yang sebelumnya mengalami tumor di tulang kakinya, lalu dibawa ke RSUD Ternate. Oleh tim dokter dilakukan amputasi untuk menyelamatkannya. Saat ini sudah dalam kondisi sehat dan sudah pulang ke rumahnya di Tidore Kepulauan.
“Rencananya, remaja putri ini akan mendapatkan kaki palsu yang merupakan program Tim Social Performance PTNHM,” tuturnya.
Sementara Manajer Komunikasi PT. NHM, Ramdani Sirait menyampaikan bahwa Haji Robert secara pribadi menaruh perhatian besar terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat dan berusaha untuk memberikan bantuan langsung kepada yang memerlukan.
“Orang sakit dari keluarga tidak mampu, bedah rumah, dan santunan rutin adalah hal-hal yang menjadi perhatian Haji Robert. Sementara program lainnya untuk masyarakat lingkar tambang masih terus didiskusikan dengan para kepala desa,” tambahnya menutup. (fnc)
