PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Pemerintah Kota Ternate terkesan lepas tangan terkait polemik kepemilikan lahan di Kelurahan Mangga Dua Utara, Kecamatan Ternate Selatan.
Sekertaris Daerah Kota Ternate, Jusuf Sunya, mengatakan masalah lahan di Kelurahan Mangga Dua Utara ini sudah lama. Lahan tersebut bersertifikat atas nama Andy Tjakra dengan luas 9.900,33 meter persegi.
“Lahan itu sudah diterbitkan sejak tahun 2003, sehingga masyarakat mempunyai hak untuk mempertanyakan terkait dasar hukum status tanah itu,” kata Jusuf saat ditemui wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Kamis (2/6).
Menurutnya, yang menjadi masalah lahan tersebut sebelumnya air laut, bukan lahan tanah. Namun dalam perjalanannya wilayah itu ditimbun, sehingga sampai muncul ada sertipikat tanah.
“Masyarakat menduga, kenapa tiba-tiba sampai ada sertifikat. Tugas pemerintah ingin menyelesaikan masalah ini agar persoalan ini cepat diselesaikan,” ucapnya.
Namun demikian, mantan Kepala Disnaker Kota Ternate ini mengaku tidak tahu kenapa sertipikat tanah dikeluarkan pihak badan pertanahan nasional (BPN).
“Jadi BPN itu berhak membuka suara. Lahan ini bukan milik pemerintah, kecuali tanah itu dibeli oleh Pemkot, tapi sertifikat ini dikeluarkan oleh BPN,” ujarnya.
“Saya juga tidak dapat gambaran utuh terkait dengan mafia tanah tersebut, BPN lebih tahu status tanah itu,” sambungnya menutup. (udi/ask)
