PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Menteri Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (PPPA), I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati, meresmikan 10 desa di Maluku Utara sebagai desa ramah perempuan dan peduli anak (DRPPA).
Kegiatan tersebut berlangsung di Pantai Tugulufa Tidore, Kamis (19/5).
Pada kesempatan itu, Menteri PPPA I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati mengharapkan, peresmian 10 desa sebagai DRPPA itu bukan hanya seremoni, tapi butuh komitmen agar betul-betul diimplementasikan di lapangan dan bisa direplikasi.
Sudah sepatutnya setiap sektor pembangunan mengedepankan prinsip kesetaraan, keadilan dan inklusifitas. Pembangunan sumber daya manusia menjadi bagian penting dalam agenda pembangunan nasional.
Berbagai sumber menunjukan bahwa tingkat partisipasi antara laki-laki dengan perempuan dalam pembangunan serta tingkat kualitas anak berbanding lurus dengan kemajuan dan kesejahteraan suatu bangsa.
Menurut Bintang, ada 10 desa yang dicanangkan menjadi DRPPA, yaitu Desa Kou serta Wailau di Kepulauan Sula, empat desa di Pulau Maitara, Desa Bibinou di Halmahera Selatan, Desa Gosoma di Halmahera Utara, dan desa Yayasan di Pulau Morotai.
Perempuan dan anak, kata dia, merupakan sumber daya manusia yang sangat penting yang harus dilindungi dan diperdayakan.
“Kenapa demikian, karena kalau kita melihat dari populasi penduduk Indonesia, perempuan mengisi 49,48 persen demikian juga anak-anak mengisi 30,1 persen. Ini menjadi penting bagi kita untuk memberikan perhatian yang serius kepada perempuan dan anak,” ujarnya.
Menurut dia, perempuan sebagai tiang negara dan anak-anak sebagai penerus bangsa. Sehingga menjadi penting, pemenuhan hak anak dan perlindungan anak untuk kita bergerak bersama. Kerena itu tidak akan bisa hanya dikerjakan oleh pemerintah pusat saja, sehingga harus sinergitas dan kolaborasi antar lintas.
“Kementrian PPPA telah berinsiasi mulai tahun 2021 ada 10 model. Kemudian pada tahun 2022 model ini dilembangkan ke 33 provinsi, 66 kabupaten/kota dan 142 desa. Di beberapa daerah dengan semangat dari kepala daerah dapat membuat desa ramah perempuan secara mandiri,” jelasnya.
Terpisah mewakili Pemkab Kepulauan Sula, Asisten I Ahmad Salawane, mengapresiasi atas pelaksanaan Launching DRPPA 2022 di Kota Tidore Kepulauan.
Ia bilang, ini menjadi tugas dan tanggung jawab pemerintah daerah untuk mendukung kegiatan ini.
“Mendukung Penghapusan kekerasan perempuan dan anak dan mencegah terjadinya perkawinan anak di bawah umur. Kita harus melakukan sosialisasi atas pentingnya DRPPA ini,” tambahnya.
Ia juga menegaskan kepada pemerintah desa untuk mendukung program-program pemberdayaan ekonomi yang diusulkan oleh kelompok ibu-ibu dan juga mendukung program-program dari Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Anak. (ish/ask)
