PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Dewan Pimpinan Daerah (DPD) Partai Demokrat Maluku Utara membagikan paket sembako kepada janda dan anak yatim, bertempat di Kantor DPD Partai Demokrat, Kelurahan Tanah Tinggi, Kecamatan Ternate Tengah, Kota Ternate, Jumat (22/4).
Ketua DPD Partai Demokrat Malut, M. Rahmi Husen kepada wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG) mengatakan, kegiatan ini diberi nama “Demokrat Peduli dan Berbagi”. Demokrat merasa prihatin dengan kondisi masyarakat yang mengalami kesulitan luar biasa. Bukan hanya akibat dari pandemi Covid-19, tapi juga dampak dari naiknya harga Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM).
“Naiknya harga BBM memicu naiknya semua harga termasuk sembako. Oleh karena itu, kami partai Demokrat Malut berkomitmen untuk berbagi,” ujarnya.
Kata dia, walaupun terasa kurang, tapi niatnya tulus untuk saling berbagi di bulan suci Ramadan. Sebanyak 500 paket sembako yang dibagikan untuk warga Kota Ternate yang kehidupan ekonominya terpuruk.
“Muda-mudahan ini bermanfaat bagi masyarakat,” katanya.
Menurutnya, pembagian ini difokuskan kepada para janda, anak yatim dan lansia yang berhak untuk mendapatkan paket tersebut atau secara ekonomi susah yang diprioritaskan.
“Kita juga nanti menjelang lebaran pembagian zakat, jadi muda-mudahan berfmanfaat,” tandasnya.
Bendahara DPD Partai Demokrat Malut, Nasri Abubakar menambahkan, kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari social responsibility.
“Untuk pembagian zakat nanti tiga hari menjelang hari raya Idul Fitri. Agar bisa digunakan untuk membayar zakat kepada Mustahaq dengan jumlah yang sama sesuai paket,” tutupnya. (gon)
