PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Memasuki Ramadan pekan pertama, sekolah di Kota Ternate baik TK/PAUD SD dan SMP akan diliburkan selama tiga hari.
Ini disampaikan Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kota Ternate Ternate, Muslim Gani, saat ditemui wartawan, Kamis (31/3).
“Awal puasa ini sekolah dari PAUD sampai SMP libur selama tiga hari yakni, Senin, Selasa dan Rabu. Sementara pada Kamis, Jumat dan Sabtu sudah kembali masuk sekolah untuk melanjutkan aktivitas belajar mengajar,” jelas Muslim.
Muslim bilang, pada Ramadan pekan kedua nantinya dilaksankan ujian sekolah untuk siswa SD kelas VI dan SMP kelas IX. Karena tidak ada lagi ujian nasional, maka yang dilakukan sekarang adalah ujian sekolah.
“Jadi kelas VI SD dan kelas IX SMP akan melaksanakan ujian sekolah secara bersamaan,” ujarnya.
Di sisi lain, kata Muslim, ujian sekolah ini diberikan kewenangan kepada sekolah-sekolah untuk menyusun soal, mendistribusi dan sebagainya. Sementara pihaknya hanya pelaksana teknis dan pemantau bagaimana pelaksanaan kelancaran ujian sekolah tersebut.
Ujian sekolah ini akan berlangsung selama enam hari ke depan. Untuk itu, kelas I sampai kelas V SD akan diliburkan. Begitu juga dengan kelas VII sampai VIII SMP.
“Karena ruangan kelas akan difungsikan untuk ujian,” pungkasnya. (tr3)
