PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Pengurus Dewan Pimpinan Daerah (DPD) Partai Demokrat Provinsi Maluku Utara, periode 2022-2027 resmi dilantik pada Selasa (15/3).
Pelantikan yang dipimpin Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono itu dilakukan secara virtual, bertempat di Sahid Bela Hotel, Kota Ternate.
Dalam surat keputusan (SK) susunan pengurus DPD Partai Demokrat Malut yang dibacakan Sekjen DPP Partai Demokrat, Teuku Riefky Harsa itu terdapat nama M. Rahmi Husen selaku Ketua DPD Malut dan Junaidi Bahruddin sebagai Sekretaris DPD Demokrat Malut.
Sementara 6 wakil ketuanya, yakni James Uang, Heny Sutan Muda, Ishak Idrus Jailani, Ester Tantri, M. Jabir Taha dan Jauhar Kahar.
Ketua Umum DPP Partai Demokrat, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono dalam sambutannya menyampaikan selamat kepada pengurus DPD Partai Demokrat Malut dan DKI Jakarta yang baru dilantik. Ia berharap para pengurus agar bekerja keras untuk bisa bersinergi memajukan partai Demokrat sebagai dedikasi kepad masyarakat di daerah.
“Saya ingin menyampaikan terima kasih kepada pengurus DPD yang lama telah bekerja keras selama 5 tahun untuk menjaga kedaulatan dan memajukan partai Demokrat,” ujarnya.
Agus meminta kepada seluruh kader untuk tetap fokus bekerja, ikhtiar dan menyiapkan diri tiba saatnya berada di garis depan. Para kader partai juga diminta tetap rendah hati dan selalu dekat dengan rakyat dengan memenangkan suara Demokrat.
Pria yang disapa AHY ini juga mengimbau kepada Ketua DPD Demokrat untuk memperkuat kepemimpinan dan manajemen yang efektif.
“Leadership itu sangat penting. Jadi kalau Ketua DPD-nya cakap, terampil, tegas, berwibawa dan menyayangi terhadap anggotanya, saya yakin para Ketua DPC dan PAC akan melakukan hal yang sama. Loyalitas itu tidak hanya dari bawa ke atas, tapi juga dari atas ke bawa dan kesamping. Tapi kalau hanya berharap dari bawah ke atas, rasanya tidak cukup,” imbuhnya.
Putra sulung mantan Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono ini juga ikut menyikapi wacana penundaan Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) serentak tahun 2024 mendatang. Ia melihat bahwa ini adalah sebuah permufakataan jahat untuk melanggengkan kekuasaan
dengan segala cara.
“Katanya ini keingan rakyat. Rakyat yang mana dulu? Dari yang disurvei 62,3 persen tidak setuju penundaan Pemilu, yang setuju cuma 10,3 persen. Apapun alasanya 70 sekian persen tidak setuju penundaan Pemilu. Jadi sudahi wacana liar penundaan Pemilu tahun 2024 mendatang. Partai Demokrat tetap menolak penundaan Pemilu,” tegasnya.
Sementara Ketua DPD Partai Demokrat Malut, M. Rahmi Husen usai dilantik dalam mengatakan, pelantikan hari ini menjadi spirit baru bagi Demokrat Malut untuk menata institusi ini ke depan menjadi lebih baik lagi.
“Bagi kami, tidak ada kata lelah dan gerah. Partai Demokrat harus tetap solid serta kuat dalam mengahadapi berbagai tantangan yang ada. Karena dengan solidaritas dan kekuatan yang menyatu disertai niat tulus maupun ikhlas, Insya Allah langkah mencapai kemenangan akan makin terbuka lebar,” tukasnya.
Menurut dia, saat ini diperhadapkan dengan situasi demokrasi kita sedang diuji. Di mana beberapa waktu lalu ada usulan untuk penundaan Pemilu bahkan dangan penambahan masa jabatan presiden.
“Bagi kita sejalan dengan sikap Ketua Umum AYH, bahwa konstitusi harus kita hormati dan ditaruh di atas segala-galanya. Oleh karena itu, kalau ada yang mencoba-coba menginjak konstitusi, mari kita semua bersama, bergandengan tangan untuk melawan hal-hal seperti itu,” tandasnya Wakil Ketua DPRD Malut ini.
“Apalagi demokrasi yang kita semua perjuangkan begitu lama berdarah-darah sejak reformasi, maka untuk itu jangan kemudian ada yang bermain-main,” pungkas mantan Ketua KPU Malut itu. (gon/ask)
