PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Dinas Komunikasi Informatika dan Persandian (Diskominfo) Kota Ternate berupaya membangun akses internet di dua kecamatan terluar.
Tahun, khusus di Kecamatan Moti akan dibangun Tower Base Transceiver Station (BTS) dengan tinggi 40 meter yang tersebar di empat titik, yakni di Kelurahan Takofi, Tafaga, Figur, dan Tafamutu.
Kepala Dinas Kominfo Kota Ternate, Anas Conoras mengatakan, pihaknya berupaya membuka akses internet di Kecamatan Moti dan Batang Dua itu sudah dilakukan dari tahun sebelum-sebelumnyanya.
Sudah dua tahun terakhir ini diupayakan dengan memasukkan program ke Kementerian Kominfo melalui PT. Bhakti, termasuk penempatan BTS yang kordinatnya juga sudah ditentukan.
“Meskipun sudah diajukan, namun ada kendala di Batang Dua soal listrik yang belum menyala 1Ć24 jam. Sebab membangun BTS itu butuh suplai listrik yang full, ini khusus di Batang Dua,” kata Anas saat dikonfirmasi di ruang kerjanya, Kamis (24/2).
Pihaknya tetap berupaya mencari solusi untuk mendatangkan BTS. Sehingga masyarakat bisa merasakan di di kecamatan terluar ini bisa akses internet.
Untuk Kecamatan Moti ini listrik sudah mulai bagus dan menyala 24 jam. Sehingga disetujui untuk dibangun tower.
“Ini sudah direspons positif oleh Kementerian Kominfo, dan ini akan dikerjakan oleh pihak PT. Bhakti,” jelasnya. (udy/ask)
