PENAMALUT.COM, JAILOLO – Pemerintah Kabupaten Halmahera Barat rupanya agak kesulitan membiayai perbaikan jembatan penghubung Jailolo-Jailolo Selatan yang mengalami keretakan pada plat lantai dasarnya.
Pasalnya, kerusakan jembatan tersebut terjadi pasca penetapan APBD Induk 2022. Sementara kondisi jembatan itu mengharuskan secepatnya dilakukan perbaikan.
Bupati Halbar, James Uang menuturkan, kerusakan jembatan itu mengakibatkan arus lalu lintas yang menghubungkan Jailolo-Jailolo Selatan sempat terhenti. Pihaknya akan mencari jalan keluar agar membiayai perbaikannya.
“Karena jembatan ini rusak setelah penetapan APBD,” ujarnya kepada wartawan, Kamis (10/2) kemarin.
Sehingga itu, Anggota DPRD Halbar tiga periode ini, dirinya akan membicarakan dengan Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Halbar untuk mencari jalan keluarnya.
“Nanti saya bicarakan dengan Sekda, kira-kira dicarikan jalan keluarnya seperti apa,” tuturnya.
Menurutnya, jembatan tersebut memang sangat strategis sekali, karena sebagai penghubung jalan antar kabupaten maupun provinsi di Maluku Utara.
Sebelumnya, jembatan 14 yang menghubungkan Jailolo-Jailolo Selatan itu mengalami retak beberapa waktu lalu. Akibatnya, kendaraan berkapasitas besar tidak bisa melewatinya. (adi/ask)
