PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Mantan Ketua Panwaslu Kabupaten Halmahera Utara, MB, resmi ditetapkan sebagai tersangka oleh penyidik tindak pidana khusus (Pidsus) Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Halut, Jumat (28/1) tadi.
MB ditetapkan tersangka atas dugaan kasus korupsi dana hibah tahun 2015 lalu menyusul dua tersangka lainnya yang lebih dulu ditetapkan tersangka, yakni Sekretaris dan Bendahara Panwaslu.
“MB selaku mantan Ketua Panwaslu hari ini sudah kami tetapkan sebagai tersangka dan selanjutnya kami tahan selama 20 hari ke depan di Lapas Tobelo,” ungkap Kajari Halut, Agus Wirawan ketika dikomfirmasi wartawan NMG, Jumat (28/1).
Menurut Agus, sebelum ditetapkan tersangka, MB lebih dulu diperiksa intensif oleh tim penyelidik bidang Pidsus Kejari sejak Selasa lalu.
“Penyidik lebih dulu melakukan permintaan keterangan sebagai saksi. Setelah itu baru ditetapkan sebagai tersangka. Jadi diperiksa sebagai saksi lebih dari tiga kali,” jelasnya.
Atas perbuatannya, tersangka MB diancam pidana dalam Pasal 2 dan Pasal 3 Undang-Undang Nomor 20 tahun 2001 tentang perubahan atas UU Nomor 31 tahun 1999 tentang pemberantasan tindak pidana korupsi.
Sekadar diketahui, berdasarkan temuan Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan atas dugaan penyalahgunaan dana hibah Panwaslu Kabupaten Halut tahun 2015 senilai 3,080 miliar dari dari total anggaran hibah yang bersumber dari APBD sebesar 4,8 miliar rupiah.
Atas kasus ini, sebelumnya Kejari telah menetapkan dua tersangka, yakni SH selaku mantan Sekertaris Panwaslu dan DM selaku mantan Bendahara Panwaslu. Ketiganya kini telah di tahan. (gon/ask)
