PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Sekretaris Dewan Pengawas (Dewas) Perusahaan Umum Daerah (Perumda) Air Minum Ake Gaale Kota Ternate, Halid Talib, meninjau perbaikan saluran air yang berada tepat di depan SMP Negeri 2 Kelurahan Dufa-dufa, Kota Ternate, Rabu (26/1) siang tadi.
Agenda yang dilakukan oleh Halid itu merupakan pengawasan lapangan yang menjadi wewenang dari Dewas Perumda Air Minum Ake Gaale.
Saat berada di lokasi, Halid menemukan sejumlah petugas sedang mengerjakan perbaikan terhadap mesin saluran air Gate Valve 4 inch yang menyalurkan air minum ke beberapa kelurahan di Kecamatan Kota Ternate Utara yang meliputi Kelurahan Dufa-dufa, Kelurahan Tafure, dan Kelurahan Akehuda.
Kepada media ini Halid mengatakan, pengawasan lapangan menjadi bagian dari komitmen Dewas Perumda Ake Gaale dalam mewujudkan pelayanan yang baik bagi para pelanggan air minum di Kota Ternate.
āUsai dari sini, saya dan para petugas ini juga berencana ke Kelurahan Ngade untuk melakukan perbaikan di salah satu satu saluran di sana,ā sebut Halid.
Untuk di kelurahan Ngade, Halid menyebut mesin Gate Valve yang di sana merupakan mesin otomatis yang proses perbaikannya hanya membutuhkan waktu sekitar tiga jam.
āBeda dengan mesin yang ini, karena yang di sini manual jadi proses perbaikan lumayan lama,ā jelasnya.
Dengan adanya perbaikan tersebut, beberapa kelurahan untuk sementara terjadi gangguan saluran air minum. Halid berharap warga untuk bisa bersabar hingga proses perbaikan ini selesai.
Halid menyatakan, pihaknya terus berkomitmen mewujudkan visi misi Wali Kota Ternate, Dr M Tauhid Soleman, dalam mengedepankan pelayanan yang baik untuk warga Kota Ternate.
Pihaknya juga telah menjalin koordinasi dengan instansi Pemerintah Kota Ternate, salah satunya adalah Bapelitbangda Kota Ternate untuk beberapa komitmen tentang pembangunan pelayanan air minum untuk warga.
āJadi jika ke depan, misalkan Perumda Ake Gaale menemukan beberapa kendala dalam pembangunan pelayanan kepada warga maka kerja sama dengan Bapelitbangda adalah untuk dapat membantu mengatasi masalah seperti tersebut,ā papar Halid. (kep)
