PENAMALUT.COM, LABUHA – Pergantian jabatan kepala sekolah (Kepsek) SD Negeri 18 Desa Buli, Kecamatan Kayoa, Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan, menuai penolakan dari warga setempat.
Pemalangan ini dilakukan warga lantaran untuk memperingatkan kepada pihak pemerintah dalam hal ini Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Dikbud) Halsel agar mengembalikan posisi kepala sekolah yang lama, yakni Umar.
“Kami masyarakat itu menyetujui Kepsek lama, yakni pak Umar. Bentuk dukungan masyarakat dari desa ke kabupaten untuk menyanpailan Dikbud, hanya saja perwakilan masyarakat ini belum ditanggapi,” kata salah satu warga kepada wartawan media ini, Rabu (19/1) malam tadi.
Karena itu, kata dia, pihaknya meminta kepada Pemda dan Dikbud Halsel segara mengembalikan posisi Umar sebagai Kepsek SD Negeri 18 Halsel yang lama. Jika tidak, maka masyarakat akan melakukan pemalangan gedung SD yang ke sekian kalinya.
Aksi palang pintu sekolah ini sebelumnya sudah dilakukan dan kemudian dibuka setelah pihak kecamatan turun ke lokasi, namun dengan syarat Umar harus dikembalikan ke posisi Kepsek.
“Torang (kami) masyarakat sudah buka palang, hanya saja ada persyaratan dari masyarakat bahwa Pak Umar harus dikembalikan ke SD Buli. Jika tidak, kami akan palang lagi,” tegasnya.
“Kepsek siapa saja yang datang, akan kami tolak, jika bukan Pak Umar. Karena pelayanan Pak Unar kepada siswa dan masyarakat sangat baik, sehingga harus dipertahankan. Jika tuntutan tidak direspon, maka kami akan palang sekolah sampai Pak Umar dikembalikan,” tandasnya. (gon)
