PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Tak lama lagi, tersangka kasus dugaan korupsi dana asuransi Jiwasraya Ternate akan duduk di kursi pesakitan.
Ini setelah berkas perkara yang melibatkan mantan Manajer Jiwasraya Cabang Ternate ini dinyatakan lengkap (P21) oleh jaksa peneliti pada Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Ternate. Setelah dinyatakan lengkap, tersangka dan barang bukti (BB) oleh penyidik Reskrim Polres Ternate diserahkan ke Kejari Ternate.
Kasi Intel Kejari Ternate, Abdullah menuturkan, kasus Jiwasraya yang dilakukan penyidikan oleh Polres Ternate telah dilakukan pelimpahan berkas tahap II (P-21) pada Rabu (5/1) ke Jaksa Penuntut Umum (JPU).
Setelah diterima berkas tersangka dan BB, sekarang tersangka sudah ditahan di Rutan Kelas IIB Ternate selama 20 hari ke depan untuk menunggu sidang.
Penahanan tersangka ini, kata Abdullah, telah menjadi kewenangan dari Kejari. Pihaknya berencana pekan depan segera melimpahkan berkas perkaea ke Pengadilan Tindak Pidana Korupsi (Tipikor) Negeri (PN) Ternate untuk disidangkan.
“Minggu ini kami akan limpahkan berkasnya ke pengadilan,” kata Abdullah saat ditemui wartawan, Jumat (7/1) pekan kemarin.
Abdullag juga menuturkan, atas perbuatan mereka, para tersangka disangkahkan melanggar Pasal 2 ayat (1) dan atau Pasal 3 junto Pasal 18 ayat (1) huruf b Undang-Undang (UU) Nomor 31 tahun 1999 sebagaimana telah diubah dengan UU Nomor 20 tahun 2001 tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Korupsi junto Pasal 64 ayat (1) KUHPidana.
“Untuk ancaman Pasal 2 ayat (1) berupa pidana penjara 20 tahun atau paling singkat 4 tahun. Sedangkan, Pasal 3 ancaman hukuman paling singkat 1 tahun dan paling lama 20 tahun,” pungkasnya.
Sekadar informasi, dugaan kasus korupsi penyalahgunaan Premi Asuransi Nasabah pada PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Area Ternate untuk pembayaran angsuran pada periode Maret 2017 sampaj Juli 2020. Penyidik melakukan penyelidikan dimulai sejak 19 Oktober 2020 lalu, dan kasus tersebut oleh penyidik kemudian ditingkatkan ke tahap penyidikan. (gon/ask)
