PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – PT. Angkutan Sungai Danau dan Penyebrangan (ASDP) Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Cabang Ternate meniadakan pelayaran penyeberangan Ternate-Bitung.
Hal ini menindaklanjuti pemberitahuan pemberhentian sementara pelayaran lokal dari KSOP Ternate. Namun, kata dia, ini hanya berlaku untuk rute Ternate-Bitung. Sementara untuk dalam wilayah Maluku Utara tetap beroperasi seperti biasanya.
“Sesuai peringatan dini dari KSOP, tetap kita indahkan. Tadi malam kita nggak jalan ke Bitung. Bahkan semalam juga rute Sidangoli kita hilang tiga trip, karena cuaca. Sehingga terjadi penumpukan dan pagi ini kita percepat jadwalnya. Takutnya sore angin kencang,” kata Manajer ASDP Indonesia Ferry Cabang Ternate, Zainal Abidin, saat dikonfirmasi wartawan, Rabu (1/12).
Zainal mengungkapkan, semalam pihaknya melakukan pemberhentian berlayar pada pukul 22.00 WIT. Hal tersebut dilakukan karena dilihat dari adanya kabut dan kecepatan angin mencapai 30 hingga 40 knot.
“Tadi pagi pukul 05.30 WIT baru kita lanjut, sudah tidak pakai jadwal tiba berangkat, tiba berangkat lagi,” ujarnya.
Pihaknya juga tetap melakukan pemantauan, apabila cuaca kurang mendukung akan dilakukan pemberhentian pelayaran.
“Kita tidak bisa ramal, cucaa ini bisa berubah-ubah. Kalau kondisi tidak memungkinkan, pasti kita berhentikan dulu,” tukasnya. (ano/ask)
