PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Warga di sejumlah kelurahan di Kota Ternate mengeluhkan sudah dua pekan ini mengalami krisis air bersih.
Warga yang mengalami krisis air bersih ini yakni Kelurahan Jati Trans, Maliaro puncak, Jati Metro, Tanah Tinggi Barat. Kondisi ini membuat warha resah. Mereka meminta agar Pemerintah Kota Ternate melalui PDAM segera mengatasi masalah ini.
Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Direktu PDAM Kota Ternate, Thamrin Alwi saat dikonfirmasi terkait masalah ini, Ia menyampaikan dari sejumlah titik yang bermasalah air bersih ini, rata-rata sumbernya dari Kelurahan Ngade, Kecamatan Ternate Selatan.
Faktor penyebabnya, kata dia, dikarenaka dua dari empat mesin pompa air tersambar petir saat hujan lebat kemarin.
“Sementara untuk dua pompa yang bekerja ini tidak mampu menarik sumber produksi air ke reservoir,” kata Thamrin, Selasa (2/11).
Ia menjelaskan, untuk pompa mesin di wilayah Ngade ini sangat sensitif. Maka dari itu pihaknya berkoordinasi dengan mekanik dari luar daerah.
“Kita sudah datangkan mekanik atau tim teknisnya dari Bandung, dan sementara masih survei lokasi. Dari kronologisnya dia melihat prosoalan-persoalan yang dihadapi memang ada kabel-kabel yang lecet, sehingga mudah disambar petir,” jelasnya.
Untuk langkah antisipasinya, pihaknya saat ini sudah melakukan rapat dengan tim teknis untuk mencari solusi, bagaiman menindaklanjutinya dari Kelurahan Fitu digabungkan denga Sasa, lalu kemudian didorong baik ke bak 400 meter kubik yang letaknya di belakang Ngade dengan ketinggian 1.253 meter permukaan laut.
“Kita akan bagi dua, di bawah ada pompa yang masuk dari sumur produksi itu sekitar 6 pipa ditarik masuk ke reservoir Sasa di dorong masuk ke Ngade belakang. Disitu nanti dimasukan ke area Kalumata, sisanya dialihkan ke reservoir 400, lalu distribusikan ke wilayah Jan, kemudian ke Maliaro. Sehingga ini bisa terlayani titik-titik yang bermasalah itu,” jelasnya. (ano/ask)
