PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Pengendara roda dua di Kepulauan Sula masih banyak belum mematuhi aturan lalulintas.
Buktinya, dari hasil operasi patuh Kie Raha 2021 yang digelar Satuan Lulintas (Satlantas) Polres Sula sejak 3 Oktober kemarin, terdapat 44 pengendara roda dua dan 2 kendaraan roda empat yang melanggar lalulintas.
Kasat Lantas Polres Sula, Iptu Walid Buamona mengatakan, operasi patuh Kie Raha itu akan berlangsung selama 14 hari ke depan.
Oprasi ini dilakukan guna menertibkan pengendara dua maupun roda empat agar mematuhi aturan berlalulintas.
Selain itu, kata Walid, operasi ini dilakukan agar pengendara taat pada protakol kesehatan dan percepatan vaksinasi.
“Apabila di lapangan ada pengguna jalan tidak patuh terhadap prokes, maka kami akan menegur dan memberikan masker,” kata Walid saat ditemui wartawan, Sabtu (9/10).
Walid mengimbau kepada pengendara agar taat aturan lalulintas, terutama bagi pengendara roda dua harus menggunakan helm demi keselamatan dirinya saat berkendara.
“Dan jangan lupa melengkapi surat-suratnya,” imbuhnya. (ish/ask)
