PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Lomba Menulis Esai dengan tema Edukasi dan Literasi Covid-19 yang diselenggarakan oleh DPD KNPI Maluku Utara (Malut) telah sampai pada penyerahan hadiah untuk para pemenang.
Pada Sabtu (18/9) malam, pemenang pertama Lomba Esai Sartika Muin, menerima hadiah dan piagam penghargaan yang diserahkan oleh Ketua DPD KNPI Malut, Irman Saleh dan ketua panitia Rahmat R Wali di Kantor Nuansa Media Grup, Kota Ternate.
Usai penyerahan hadiah itu, Ketua KNPI Irman Saleh mengatakan, sepanjang masa periode DPD KNPI yang dipimpin olehnya, literasi dan edukasi selalu menjadi program prioritas yang tetap dijalankan.
Salah satu dari itu, pihaknya selalu mengedepankan aspek literasi maupun edukasi dalam melihat fenomena Pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda tanah air beberapa tahun belakangan.
“Komitmen kita budaya literasi harus tetap hidup dan berkembang di kalangan pemuda. Lomba Esai hanyalah bentuk kecil dari menjalankan program itu. Untuk itu, demi terus mengasah kemampuan literasi tersebut, dari Lomba Esai yang telah diselenggarakan itu karya-karyanya akan kita buat buku,” jelasnya.
Melalui Lomba Esai menandakan bahwa DPD KNPI Malut dimasa kepemimpinan Irman Saleh sebagai ketua dan M Ardiyansyah selaku sekretaris, telah menyediakan sarana bagi para pemuda untuk berkreasi menyalurkan karya tulisnya.
Salah satu peserta Lomba Esai yang menjadi pemenang ke-3, Cholisoh Nur Rohmah, bahkan menyampaikan rasa terima kasihnya kepada KNPI karena telah menyediakan sarana untuk dia dalam menyalurkan bakat menulisnya.
Sementara itu, Sekretaris KNPI Malut M Ardiyansyah, juga menyampaikan terima kasihnya kepada seluruh peserta yang telah berpartisipasi dalam lomba.
“Antusiasme peserta sangat luar biasa. 70 karya tulis yang diterima merupakan bentuk kesadaran literasi yang tentunya sangat kita idamkan. Kami juga ingin berterima kasih kepada panitia pelaksana dan para dewan juri yang terus mengawal kegiatan ini hingga berjalan sukses,” singkat Ardiyan.
Lomba Menulis Esai KNPI Malut diikuti oleh 68 peserta dengan 70 karya tulis yang dilombakan. Dari seluruh karya tersebut, panitia menjanjikan akan dibuat kumpulan tulisan dalam bentuk buku. (*)
