PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Pemerintah kabupaten Halmahera Utara (Halut) lewat Bagian Perekonomian dan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat melakukan penyegaran atau evaluasi terhadap pelaku pangkalan minyak tanah.
Ada 900 pangkalan minyak tanah yang dievaluasi. Dari 900 pangkalan minyak tanah, beberapa diantaranya dihentikan izinnya dan diberikan kepada orang lain.
Kepala Bagian Kesra Halut, Bahri Dode mengatakan, pemutusan pangkalan minyak tanah ini lantaran dinilai sudah lama beroperasi.
“Batas izin yang diberikan ini hanya 3 tahun, sementara pangkalan yang melakukan pelayanan terhdap masyarakat ini sudah cukup lama, sehingga kita evaluasi,” katanya saat dikonfirmasi wartawan, Senin (9/8).
Berdasarkan informasi yang diterima wartawan, ada pangkalan minyak tanah yang beroperasi baru setahun sudah dicabut dan digantikan dengan orang.
Padahal tidak ada pelanggaran ditemukan adanya pelanggaran. Bahkan Bagian Kesra mengaku sebelumnya pernah melakukan monitoring ke pangkalan-pangkalan minyak tanah dan tidak menemukan adanya penimbunan.
Evaluasi pelaku usahan pangkalan minyak tanah ini ditanggapai Ketua Komisi I DRPD Halut, Irfan Soekoenay. Irfan menyaatakan pihaknya akan menindaklanjuti pengaduan masyarakat, karena sudah banyak keluhan masyarakat yang disampaikan ke DPRD terkait pemutusan izin pangkalan minyak tanah ini.
Untuk itu, lanjut Irfan, komisi I DPRD sebagai lembaga pengawasan akan berkoordinasi dengan pemerintah daerah untuk menanyakan hal tersebut.
DPRD berharap tidak ada keputusan pemerintah yang merugikan masyarakat yang berdampak pada keberlangsungan hidup mereka.
“Kalau ada keputusan pemerintah demikian, tentu ada sebab akibatnya. Untuk itu nanti kita tanyakan ke Pemda,” ujarnya.
DPRD juga menyayangkan sikap Bagian Kesra yang melakukan pemutusan izin pangkalan secara sepihak. Untuk itu, dalam waktu dekat akan dipanggil Bagian Kesra untuk dimintai keterangan.
Karena menurut Irfan langkah pemda lewat kabag kesra melakukan penyegaran terhadap pelaku pangkalan minyak tanah bukan suatu langkah yang tepat. (fnc)
