PENAMALUT.COM, SOFIFI – Wakil Ketua DPRD Provinsi Maluku Utara, Wahda Zainal Imam, dicopot dari jabatannya.
Pencopotan ini dikeluarkan Mahkamah Partai Gerakan Indonesia Raya (Gerindra) menyusul kasus dugaan menghalang-halangi dan mencoba menabrak petugas kepolisian saat bertugas mengatur lalulintas di pertigaan jalan Kelurahan Kampung Pisang belum lama ini.
Bahkan kasus tersebut saat ini sedang ditangani Polda Malut dan telah dinaikkan statusnya dari penyelidikan ke penyidikan.
Ketua DPD Partai Gerindra Maluku Utara, Sahril Tahir membenarkan pencopotan Wahda dari jabatan tersebut.
Menurutnya, surat pencopotan dan sanksi tegas sudah dikeluarkan DPP untuk ditindaklanjuti ke DPD. Selanjutnya DPP akan menunjuk salah satu dari empat kader terbaik yang saat ini ada di DPRD Malut untuk menggantikan posisi Wahda.
“Suratnya sudah kita terima, selanjutnya kita menunggu siapa yang dipercayakan oleh DPP untuk menduduki jabatan wakil ketua DPRD menggantikan Wahda,” jelas Sahril kepada wartawan disela-sela rapat paripurna di gedung DPRD Malut, Senin (7/6) tadi.
Sesuai mekanismenya, lanjut Sahril, setelah putusan itu dikeluarkan, DPP langsung menyurat ke DPD untuk ditindaklanjut ke Sekertariat DPRD Malut agar diproses sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku.
“Kita tinggal menunggu saja, karena proses pergantian unsur pimpinan DPRD itu sesuai mekanismenya,” jelasnya. (Red)
