PENA – Pelantikan 129 kepala sekolah (Kepsek) SMA/SMK dan SLB di Maluku Utara oleh Pemerintah Provinsi Malut belum lama ini mendapat protes dan penolakan dari pihak tertentu yang mengatasnamakan orang tua siswa.
Menanggapi aksi tersebut, Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Dikbud) Malut menegaskan bahwa pelantikan itu sudah sesuai Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Permendikbud) Nomor 6 tahun 2018 tentang masa penugasan kepala sekolah yang diatur dari ayat 1 hingga 8.
“Sehingga itu, pihak-pihak yang melibatkan masyarakat dalam aksi ini sangat disesalkan, karena ini dapat mengganggu aktivitas belajar mengajar,” kata Kadikbud Malut, Imam Makhdy Hassan saat dikonfirmasi wartawan, Senin (8/3).
Menurutnya, apa yang dilakukan oknum yang mengatasnamakan masyarakat dengan memalang sekolah adalah tindakan yang tidak dibenarkan. Sebab itu merupakan fasilatas negara. “Tidak boleh. Palantikan beberapa waktu kemarin itu sudah sesuai makanisme dan prosedur, bukan asal dilantik,” ujarnya.
Untuk itu, dia menegaskan jika sampai ada oknum-oknum tertentu yang mengatasnamakan orang tua siswa masih terus menganggu aktivitas belajar mengajar, maka Dikbud Malut bakal mengambil sikap secara tegas.
Dirinya berharap kepada orang tua siswa agar jangan terpancing dengan persoalan yang dibuat-buat oleh oknum yang tidak memiliki rasa tanggung jawab untuk menudukung serta mamajukan dunia pendidikan.
Pergantian kepsek ini, kata dia sebelumnya, merupakan langkah evaluasi serta perbaikan agar sekolah lebih maju. Dalam Permendikbud juga telag dijelaskan terkait masa jabatan Kepsek yang hanya dua periode atau 8 tahun paling lama. Bahkan mereka yang dilantik sebagai Kepsek itu telah melewati tahapan seleksi berkas dan sudah dikatakan layak. (ask)
