PENA – DPD KNPI Maluku Utara (Malut) mendesak Gubernur Abdul Gani Kasuba (AGK) untuk mengevaluasi kinerja Kepala Dinas Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) yang saat ini dijabat oleh Hasyim Daeng Barang.
Ketua DPD KNPI Malut, Irman Saleh mengatakan, persoalan pertambangan di Malut selalu menjadi sorotan publik dikarenakan sudah banyak masalah yang terjadi.
Sejauh ini, Kadis ESDM yang membidangi masalah pertambangan di Malut justru tidak muncul ke permukaan. Bahkan, gubernur AGK harus turun langsung untuk menjawab respon publik terkait permasalahan tambang.
“Kadis ESDM ‘jangan cuci tangan’. Sudah saatnya dinas teknis ini disorot oleh publik, sehingga jangan sekali-kali gubernur yang terus disalahkan,” tandas Irman.
Meskipun begitu, Irman memperingatkan Gubernur AGK harus memberikan respon positif jika ada pihak yang mendesak pencopotan pimpinan SKPD. Karena jika tidak, justru AGK sendiri yang kewalahan dalam menjalankan program pemerintah daerah.
“Dinas teknis yang ada menjadi lini terdepan dalam mendorong program pembangunan daerah, maka AGK harus sering-sering mengevaluasi dinas teknis yang ada. Salah satunya adalah dinas ESDM,” desak Irman.
Tidak hanya itu, Irman juga menyoroti kinerja Wakil Gubernur Malut Al Yasin Ali. Bagi Irman, bobroknya kinerja pemerintahan tak lepas juga dari tanggungjawab Wakil Gubernur.
“Kami tidak melihat apapun kinerja Wagub hingga saat ini. Jika kinerja pemerintah buruk, atau ada masalah lain di daerah, selalu Gubernur yang ditemui dan dikritisi. Wagub ini entah mengapa hanya jadi boneka tak berguna,” tegas Irman.
Irman mendesak Wagub agar selalu muncul ke permukaan setiap daerah ini menemui masalah. Termasuk permasalahan tambang yang kerap terjadi, Wagub didesak agar menjadi garda terdepan membela masyarakat dan melawan korporasi tambang. (*)
