Take a spooky stroll through the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden this fall! Fearsome and friendly scarecrows return to greet you as you walk along the trails. Grab a scavenger hunt to search for signs of fall in our Garden. The outdoor Pumpkin Patch at the QBG Farm will be full of harvest-themed photo opportunities and activity stations for seed planting, crafts, autumn-themed book reading, and chalk art! For adults 21 and older, available are harvest and pumpkin-themed beers and ciders for purchase.

Crown Heights / Prospect Lefferts Gardens

"I live in Crown Heights, right over the PLG border. Halloween is a BIG deal in PLG. The 71st precinct usually puts on a safe walk for trick or treating. They close several streets to traffic starting at about 5:00. The safe walk usually starts at Lincoln Road and goes to Rutland, from Flatbush to Rogers. The home owners on these streets go all out with decorations and candy. It’s really fun! The precinct usually puts out the exact route and timing a couple weeks before Halloween."

Atlantic Terminal Mall, Brooklyn Bridge Parents and Mommy Poppins are hosting a FREE family-friendly fall festival on Atlantic Terminal’s outdoor plaza and car-free Fort Greene Place on Saturday, October 14th from 11 am to 2 PM (rain date: Sunday, October 15th from 11 am to 2 PM). We will set up an "urban pumpkin patch" with 1,000 pumpkins waiting to be decorated by the kiddos. The outdoor plaza and car-free Fort Greene Place will feature arts & crafts, pumpkin painting, block building, haunted trucks to enter (if you dare), soccer, costume dance party, face painting and more! Kids are encouraged to come in costumes.

12 - 1 pm: New York City’s famous urban cowboy HOPALONG ANDREW will perform a high-spirited concert that incorporates music, lassos, and hijinx for a show that is fun for small and tall alike!

Friends of Bleecker Playground Annual Fundraising Halloween Festival

This annual celebration begins with a toddler-friendly costume parade around the nabe to the Bleecker Street Playground, and includes face painting, craft tables, and trick-or-treating.
