A Le Creuset Pan for $100

Certain pots and pans have premier status in my kitchen, and Le Creuset’s enamel cast-iron skillet — which is on sale today for more than 40 percent off — regularly gets top billing.

Made from the same material as its iconic Dutch oven, it has the ability to get really hot and maintain that heat throughout the cooking process, no matter what ingredients you add in. Still, a thin layer of enamel gives it a smoother and more nonstick surface than standard cast iron. It’s extremely durable, too: I hand-wash mine with a sudsy sponge, and it looks as good as the day I bought it about six months ago. (Though the brand’s reputation makes it clear that it’s meant to last much longer — like forever.) And it wouldn’t be Le Creuset if it wasn’t also pretty enough to take straight from stovetop to table in any of the six discounted shades.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
