How to Watch 49ers vs. Browns Week 6 NFL Game: TV, Betting Info

As detailed earlier this year, the San Francisco 49ers are a bit terrifying.

Not only are they one of just two undefeated teams in the National Football League (NFL) this year, they're winning by nearly 20 points per game on average. They have scored 30 points or more in every game and have only allowed 20 points or more once. They rank third in both most yards gained per game and fewest yards allowed per game. Their +7 turnover differential is tied for the league's best.

Clearly, it's one of the most talented rosters in all of the NFL. And all of it with at nearly $40 million below the salary cap.

49ers great Joe Staley says that kind of success doesn't just happen by accident.

"The talent they have in the roster, I think that's been built the right way over the last three or four years," Staley told Newsweek in London ahead of a watch party the 49ers are hosting Sunday.

Staley would know what it takes to win in the NFL. In his 13 seasons, all with San Francisco, Staley went to four NFC Championship games and two Super Bowls. He also saw the team struggle through losing seasons and rebuild into a championship caliber crew.

"I think that's one of the things that makes the 49ers franchise right now so, exciting and special," Staley said. "It wasn't just done for a 1-2-year window like some teams have built. This team is been built over the years for the long haul and for sustained success."

Sunday, they'll have a test on the road in the form of a well-rested Browns team in a windy, wet Cleveland.

The Browns are coming off a bye-week break where they've no doubt been game planning around the 49ers most potent weapons. Their defensive unit has been stingy at times this season, allowing just three points in their two wins. With rainy and windy conditions forecast, it's easy to see a low-scoring affair given ahead.

Despite the rest, the Browns are banged up on both sides of the ball. Most notably, starting quarterback Deshaun Watson will miss Sunday's game, the team announced on Friday. All-Pro defender Myles Garrett was limited in practice Thursday, but the team has not yet made a decision about his status for Sunday.

If Garrett is able to play, he will line up across from one of the best offensive tackles in the game in Trent Williams. Winning that battle to pressure 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy in the less-than-ideal weather conditions will be key if the Browns are going to put the first blemish on the 49ers stellar season.

How to Watch 49ers vs. Browns

The 49ers and Browns will kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday in Cleveland. The game will air on FOX for fans in both markets, with Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen on the call.

The game will also be available to stream via NFL+, Fubo and the NFL Sunday Ticket Package, among other platforms.

Betting Odds for 49ers vs. Browns

While many teams come off of a bye-week as favorites, not so for the Browns. San Francisco is a 9.5-point favorite with an over/under of just 36 points on BetMGM Friday afternoon.
