SmallHD has been awarded an Engineering, Science & Technology Emmy from the Television Academy at the 2023 75th Annual Engineering Emmy Awards on October 18th in Los Angeles, CA.

One thing is for sure: SmallHD has the best user interface in the business with PageOS, and the quality of their monitors is excellent. I’ve invested in several over the years, including my recent Ultra 5, and they all have served me well. You see them on feature film sets and high-end productions, so you know they are doing it right.

On hand to receive the award are Lead Software Engineer Jeffrey Gray, System Architect Russell Hocken, User Interface Designer Barrett Phillips, and Head of Product Greg Smokler received the award for SmallHD and were joined by Norbert Ingram, SmallHD Sr. Hardware Design Engineer, as well as Blake Johnson, Dir. of Engineering, and Graham Phillips, Mechanical Engineer.

We were honored to share the stage with so many members of the technical community at the 75th Engineering Emmys, but this achievement would never have been possible without massive contributions made by the SmallHD research and development team. Mike Claes, Jeff McLamb, Will Crow, Arjun Jagdish, Jon Peacock, Rob Yost, and many others have poured years of their lives into helping refine and improve SmallHD monitors. Additional credit for contributions to the latest platforms goes to Dan Furgurson, Forrest DeVita, Curtiss Noble, Scott Day, Doug Eaton, Kaleb Droskiewicz, Paul Mehollin, and Joel Andrews, as well as countless other SmallHD team members from our operations, support, service, and planning teams, as well as many others who have all worked tirelessly to ensure the success of SmallHD and our monitors.
