The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival   

Jazz Fest returns from April 25-28 and May 2-5 with an all-star lineup of performers. Headliners for the first weekend include Widespread Panic, The Killers, Jon Batiste, Chris Stapleton, Vampire Weekend, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, and Heart. Enjoy famed “Jazz Fest food” such as crawfish dishes and mango freeze, stop by one of the art vendor tents, or compile your list of post-Jazz Fest shows around the city. Zurich Classic   

Zurich Classic is an annual New Orleans golf tournament that returns this April 22-28. Just outside of the city at TPC Louisiana, men will take to the green in this PGA Tour event. Watch as Rory McIlroy makes his Zurich Classic debut. Buy tickets here.

Movies in the Park 

On Friday, April 26, head to Joe W. Brown Park (5601 Read Blvd.) for a screening of “Wakanda Forever.” The movie is free to attend begins at dusk. The rain location is Joe W. Brown Rec Center (5601 Read Blvd.).

Born With Teeth” 

In Liz Duffy Adams' punk-edged play, “Born with Teeth,” the great Kit Marlowe and up-and-comer Will Shakespeare meet in the back room of a pub to collaborate on a history play cycle, navigate the perils of art under a totalitarian regime, and flirt like young men with everything to lose. See it on select nights from April 25 - May 12 at Le Petit Theatre. Tickets start at $37, plus fees.
