Princess Charlotte and her father Prince William have shared an adorable social media post as they cheer on England's Lionesses ahead of the World Cup final tomorrow morning (Sunday 20 August).

The Prince of Wales wished England’s Lionesses good luck ahead of the final in an Instagram video with his daughter, Princess Charlotte.

In the video, William has a grinning Princess Charlotte sitting next to him whilst holding a football in her lap. He said: "Lionesses, I want to send you huge good luck for tomorrow. We're sorry we can't be there in person.

"But we're so proud of everything you've achieved and the millions you've inspired here and around the world. So, go out there tomorrow and really enjoy yourselves." Charlotte then says at the end: "Good luck Lionesses!"

Charlotte completely stole the show from her father William, with followers flooding the comments with praise for her sweet and grown up she is. One person typed: "It feels like Charlotte has grown so much."

A second commented: "Princess Charlotte his mini me," with heart-eyed emojis. Another person chimed in: "This is so cute," whilst another said: "Papa and his cutie back at it again."

The Prince of Wales, who is the President of the Football Association, will not be making the overseas trip to Australia and will watch the match instead on television.

England will take on Spain tomorrow in a bid to pick up their first ever World Cup trophy. Last summer, the Lionesses defeated eight-time champions Germany in the Euro 2022 final at Wembley, which Prince William attended.
