Fans of the Great British Bake Off were left fuming on Tuesday evening (October 17) as the show wasn't airing in its usual 8pm slot on Channel 4.

Instead, viewers were left with a football match as England takes on Italy at Wembley in a 2024 Euro qualifier match which started at 7pm, 45 minutes before kick-off. This action will be broadcast on Channel 4, with Lioness Jill Scott, Joe Cole, and Gianfranco Zola presenting the coverage.

Bake Off viewers will no doubt be wanting to know when to tune in, in order to find out whether their favourite 2023 baker will impress Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith enough to make it through for another week.
