Staff and atmosphere is always top notch whether it’s in the lounge or formal dining. Server was super friendly and on top of everything. It wasn’t overly busy on this particular night so maybe we received extra attention . The Chop Burger is fantastic. Wedge salad is a meal in itself. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Our server was Brailyn who was excellent, and the manager Sam was great too, we felt very well looked after. The general atmosphere was relatively quiet and pleasant, we appreciated the lighting actually, not something I would normally comment on. For the appetizer, the Wild Mushroom Goat Cheese dip was second to none. If you're into cocktails, the Pink Lemonade doesn't disappoint. For the main course we had the New York Striploin with Caesar Salad and a side sauteed mushrooms. The striploin could not have been more perfect. Then the Chop Burger with the Furious Fries were fantastic, the pickled onions on the burger were a nice touch. We shared the Pineapple Upside-down cake for dessert, which puts other desserts to shame after this. Overall, excellent food, pleasant ambience, great service, and although you will pay a few bucks for this experience, I would say it is worth it. Highly recommended, especially for special occasions.
I will make changes to the reviews from twelve months ago, changing from five stars to four stars. I feel that the current restaurant is no longer suitable for five-star reviews Well well well A blue well steak here is very delicious. Three years ago, I came here for the first time to taste a lot of delicious food. Two years ago, I had a supper with my friends here and tasted a lot of special red wine and bread the bread here surprised me much. And today’s, I came here again with my friends. It is a awesome place. If I have the opportunity, I will come again. Five star evaluation
Wonderful first time experience, the floor manager herself came and greeted us and also offered us a starter as a welcome gesture. She was really sweet and explained us everything so well. Also asked us about our allergies. Had to wait for a bit for our table initially but the whole experience was really good. The tomato linguine was delicious, the pineapple inverted rum cake was so yummy. Overall great first time impression! I would like to go again to celebrate with my friends
Great service. I wish i remebered our servers name because he was so attentive and friendly. They make you feel special on your birthday with a free mini dessert. We will be going back for sure.Food: 5/5
Thank you to our waitress Shania W for a 10 star experience!! You truly went above and beyond and were very professional and provided excellent food and beverage recommendations. The atmosphere, food, drinks, dessert and service were all top notch. The soap opera romance with the bar staff was entertaining, but would be better suited after work hours. The acting Manager was awesome to deal with.
Just had a wonderful time with some friends at Chop. Ate a perfectly cooked medium rare top sirloin steak with an unreal peppercorn sauce. The steak was the best I've had in a long time. Along with the food, the service was amazing. The manager even came over to greet us and welcome us to Chop, and as it was our first time she even gave us a free sample appy. The drinks were also spot on. A few of our party opted to get the bartenders choice and he knocked it out of the park. Great to know the bar staff are able to have fun and mix it up; I feel like some steakhouses are so business that the bars are afraid to go off menu. Overall fantastic experience.
No one does a perfect medium rare filet mignon like Chop! From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The decor in this pristine restaurant adds to the classy atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly, and accommodating. Even afterwards: as I waited outside for my ride, I dropped my water bottle. A young lady, with a trayful of drinks, dashed to retrieve it, handed it to me, all without spilling a drop from her tray! Mint service from beginning to end. By the way, even the washroom is classy, with black fixtures. I would recommend more than 1 wheelchair stall. It is easy to roll into the washroom, however, the main front entrance door is heavy. The wheelchair entrance was broken. Dietary restrictions: Personal attention to my needs. Wheelchair accessibility: Separate wheelchair entrance wasn't working.
Omg! Food here is amazing! Their desserts are to die for, especially the Pineapple Turnover cake and the Creme Brulee. I still can't decide which is my favorite so for now, I'll keep them both lol. Staff is awesome! Amazing, friendly and just wow! Exceptional service Hands up to the amazing staff!
Food was great. Prime rib was cooked perfectly and the horsheradish really had a kick, which I love. The server was prompt, but only downside was the wait time. The server said they were unusually busy for a Wednesday night at the end, but didn't really mention there could be a long time before food earlier on. Overall, would go back!Food: 5/5
