LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden presents Wine and Roses Rambler Nov. 5

(10/11/23) BATON ROUGE, La. — The temperatures are backing off just in time for the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden Wine and Roses Rambler Nov. 5.

Friends of the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden have the table set and are inviting you to take an afternoon stroll through the gardens from 2 to 4 p.m.

This annual event inspires attendees to immerse themselves in the art of wine appreciation, all while you sip and savor carefully selected pairings from local establishments.

However, great wine and delicious food are just part of the excitement. As in past years, guests will also enjoy live music, a wine toss, a silent auction and a raffle.

And there’s nothing wrong with a little friendly competition at the wine toss as you savor gourmet hors d'oeuvres from some of your favorite local restaurants and sip fine wine specially selected for each small bite. You even get to engage your senses in an aromatic wine tasting.

Tickets to the event are available online at $100 per person and $90 for members of Friends of LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden. All food and drinks are included in the cost of your ticket. But you need to hurry and get your tickets now at www.LSUAgCenter.com/WineRoses.

Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at $10 apiece, and wine toss tickets are $20. Both are available online and at the event.

Sponsors for this year’s event include MJ’s Café, Rocca Pizzeria and Louisiana Bayou Bistro Restaurant and Catering.
