RBI Assistant Recruitment 2023 : The Reserve Bank of India is currently accepting online applications for 450 Assistant positions across its diverse offices.
To be eligible for this job, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree and fall within the age bracket of 20 to 28 years.
The selection procedure involves a Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

Educational Qualification
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
- A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
- Candidates applying for post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office.
Age Limit(As on 01 September 2023): 20-28 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC / ST: 5 years, i.e. up to 33 years
- OBC: 3 years, i.e. up to 31 years
- PWD: 10 years (GEN/ EWS), 13 years (OBC) & 15 years (SC/ST)
- Ex-Servicemen: To the extent of service rendered by them in Armed Forces plus an additional period of 3 years subject to maximum of 50 years
- Widows/divorced women/ women judicially separated who are not re-married: Upto 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)
- Candidates having work experience in Reserve Bank of India: To the extent of number of years of such experience, subject to maximum of 3 years

Selection Process
- Selection will be based on the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
- Final Selection will depend, on the performance in the online test, qualifying in LPT, Medical fitness, verification of certificates, Biometric Data, etc.

Language Proficiency Test (LPT):
LPT will be of Qualifying Type. The candidates provisionally selected from the Online Test will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). LPT will be conducted in the Official/ Local Language of the State concerned. Candidates not proficient in the Official/Local Language would be disqualified.

- 50 ശതമാനം മാർക്കോടെ ഏതെങ്കിലും വിഷയത്തിൽ ബിരുദമാണ് അടിസ്ഥാന യോഗ്യത.(എസ്.സി./എസ്.ടി./ ഭിന്നശേഷി വിഭാഗക്കാർക്ക് പാസ് മാർക്ക് മതി).
- വേഡ് പ്രോസസിങ്ങിൽ അറിവുണ്ടായിരിക്കണം.
- അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന പ്രാദേശികഭാഷയിൽ പരിജ്ഞാനം വേണം.
- വിമുക്തഭടന്മാർ അംഗീകൃത സർവകലാശാലയിൽനിന്നുള്ള ബിരുദമോ മെട്രിക്കുലേഷനോ സൈനികവിഭാഗം നടത്തുന്ന തത്തുല്യപരീക്ഷയോ വിജയിച്ചിരിക്കണം.15 വർഷത്തെ സർവീസുള്ളവരായിരിക്കണം.
പ്രായം: 20-28 വയസ്സ് (സംവരണ വിഭാഗങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇളവ് ബാധകം)
തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ്: പ്രിലിമിനറി,മെയിൻ, ലാംഗ്വേജ് പ്രൊഫിഷ്യൻസി ടെസ്റ്റ് എന്നിവയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാകും തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ്.
60 മിനിറ്റിന്റെ പ്രിലിമിനറി പരീക്ഷയിൽ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷ, ന്യൂമെറിക്കൽ എബിലിറ്റി, റീസണിങ് എബിലിറ്റി എന്നീ വിഷയങ്ങളിൽനിന്നായി 100 ചോദ്യമുണ്ടാകും.
135 മിനിറ്റ് വരുന്ന മെയിൻ പരീക്ഷയിൽ റീസണിങ്, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷ, ന്യൂമെറിക്കൽ എബിലിറ്റി, ജനറൽ അവയർനെസ്, കംപ്യൂട്ടർ നോളജ് വിഷയങ്ങളിൽനിന്നായി 200 ചോദ്യമുണ്ടാകും. മൾട്ടിപ്പിൾ ചോയ്സ് രീതിയിലാണ് പരീക്ഷ.
ഒക്ടോബർ 21, 23 തീയതികളിലായി പ്രിലിമിനറി പരീക്ഷയും ഡിസംബർ രണ്ടിന് മെയിൻ പരീക്ഷയും നടക്കും.
ഓൺലൈനായി നടക്കുന്ന പരീക്ഷയ്ക്ക് കേരളത്തിലും കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളുണ്ട്.
- കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രിലിമിനറി പരീക്ഷാകേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ: കണ്ണൂർ, കൊച്ചി,കൊല്ലം, കോട്ടയം, കോഴിക്കോട്, മലപ്പുറം, പാലക്കാട്, തിരുവനന്തപുരം, തൃശ്ശൂർ.
- കേരളത്തിലെ മെയിൻ പരീക്ഷാകേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ: കൊച്ചി, കൊല്ലം, കോട്ടയം, കോഴിക്കോട്, തിരുവനന്തപുരം, തൃശ്ശൂർ.
