Typically, getting a day job is a surefire way to get worse at skateboarding. I wouldn’t be surprised if every copy sent to the printer increases your chances of rolling an ankle, or if each hour spent in an office chair makes it 0.001% harder to do a kickflip.
As long as I’m playing with hypothetical percentages and fake statistics I’ll include an outlier, and his name is Derick Glancy. He works for Crailtap, and in between doing day to day sales, he filmed a full video part.
Curious to see the effects of working alongside Mike Carroll and Rick Howard we visited the Crailtap offices, and after a brief history lesson about the Crail Couch we kicked back and watched Derick’s new part.

Not sure I would call working at Crailtap a “day job.” Dude is around skateboarding all the time. I’d rip too.
