Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understood your concern. I have reviewed the pictures you attached (attachments removed to protect the patient’s identity). Firstly I would like to inform you that if there was incident of unprotected sex, then I suggest you get your self tested for STIs (sexually transmitted diseases) by undergoing tests mentioned below:

  1. Treponema Pallidum Hemagglutination Assay.
  2. Human Papillomavirus DNA Polymerase Chain Reaction test.
  3. Herpes Simplex Virus Immunoglobulin G test (Type 1 and Type 2).
  4. Herpes Simplex Virus Immunoglobulin M test (Type 1 and Type 2).
  5. Chlamydia Trachomatis IgG.
  6. Human Immunodeficiency Virus Antibodies Screening Test.
  7. Hepatitis B Surface Antigen.
  8. Complete urine analysis.

If the issue is not due to a more complex infection, I suggest you use ointment containing Mupirocin for local application and take a tablet of Doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for five days. If itching is present, It can be a fungal infection. In that case, I suggest you use an ointment containing Clotrimazole and Beclometasone for local application and take a tablet of Cetirizine at night. Remember to wash your genitalia twice a day with normal water, avoiding hot or cold water. Refrain from using heavily pH-balanced soaps. I hope this has helped you. Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.

Thank you.
