Grace Maeda

As the associate editor of HAWAIʻI Magazine, Grace Maeda is passionate about capturing the rich culture and vibrant communities in the Islands that she calls home. Born and raised on the Valley Isle, Grace swapped the ocean for snow and attended Marist College in New York. After earning a degree in journalism, she returned home to share stories about one of the most unique and remote island chains in the world. While on Maui, Grace has a difficult time staying inside. She spends her days either at the beach or hiking.
