Our mission is to create a welcoming and comfortable space where book lovers can gather to discuss and enjoy their favorite reads, while indulging in delicious baked goods and coffee(Hope you have a sweet tooth). As we grow, we aspire to open a book cafe that will bring together the best of both worlds - a cozy and inviting atmosphere, along with mouth-watering baked goods to accompany your reading journey. Our book club is currently in its germinating stages, so we're looking for fellow book lovers to join us on this exciting journey. Whether you're a student, faculty member, or simply someone who loves to read, we welcome all to join our community and help us shape the future of Kitaab and Kookies. So if you're looking for a community of like-minded individuals who share your passion for books and sweet treats, come join us! We can't wait to meet you.

[close] Each month a theme will be set with a suggested book for each age group (adult, young adult, 8-12 years, young children). You do not have to stick to your age group, it's just to provide a little something for everyone. Some months adult themes may be included, there will be a warning given prior if this is the case. If you add a book to the tbr please let a moderator know the key themes, genres and age range that it falls under.
